Resonance #17 (18 x 48 in.)

The Resonance series embodies the capacity for empathy and understanding between living things at the molecular level (limbic resonance). I represent this core and fundamental capacity to connect with one another using resonating and overlapping vibrant colors and fluid textures expressing spontaneous movement and energy. Materials include rich alcohol inks, crystal, gold leaf, pyrite, black tar and a glossy resin surface which catches the light, dances and shimmers.
